Dear friends and family,

What would you do if you were diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a progressive, incurable neurological condition that won’t shorten your life but will affect your ability to do everyday activities we all take for granted?

What would you do if you had to retire early from a job you love, give up physical activities you enjoy, travel and socialize less as your symptoms progress?

You would do whatever it takes to maintain your quality of life. You would network with others with Parkinson’s through the Parkinson’s society of Southwestern Ontario, a non-profit organization providing support, education, funds for research to discover new treatment, and ultimately a cure for Parkinson’s.

On September 6 Dave and I will be walking on the knockout-PD team in London Ontario to raise funds to help him, and many others like him,to live a better life with PD.
