10 years ago my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's. This is a cause my family continues to care greatly about. My mom received DBS surgery four years ago in September, a life changing procedure that has made a huge difference in my mom's, and family's, everyday life. We participate each year in the Walk for Parkinson's to raise awareness, support those who have been diagnosed and live with Parkinson's, and show our love for my wonderful mother!
