Please support me in the Walk for Parkinson's!
Hi! My name is Marina, and I’m a PhD candidate in Neuroscience at Western University, where I research how music and non-invasive brain stimulation can impact walking in people living with Parkinson’s disease. This cause is very close to my heart, not only because of the incredible participants I’ve had the privilege to work with through my research, but also because of my uncle Antônio, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in Brazil, my home country. I often think about how much he would have benefited from having a place like the PSSO near him. Through my work, I’ve seen firsthand how valuable it is to have an organization like that, one that offers connection, support, and resources to people living with Parkinson’s and their families. That’s why I’m happy to walk and fundraise for this cause!
