Team Grandpa Terry's Walk for Parkinson's
This is my Grandpa, Terry.
He is the pillar of our family. Everyone thinks their own grandpa is the best but I can tell you that mine truly is the best of all time.
He has always been the biggest cheerleader, supporter, math homework helper, car problem troubleshooter, Consumers Report expert, chauffeur, babysitter, waffle maker and so much more.
For the last 8 years, Parkinson’s has slowly taken away pieces of the man we love, but his spirit, his strength and the love for his family remains as strong as ever
On September 7th, we will be walking beside my Grandpa Terry — not just for him, but because of him. This walk is his wish — a final chance for us to stand with him, to show him he’s not alone, and to fight back in the only way we can: together.
He’s set a goal to raise $20,000 to support Parkinson’s research and awareness. It’s a bold goal, but so is he.
