My dad has been living with Parkinson’s for almost 20 years. Through every up and down, he’s faced this disease with incredible courage and quiet resilience. He continues to inspire us every single day — and this walk is for him.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological disease. While medication can ease some symptoms, there’s still no cure. And by 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s is expected to double.

On September 6, 2025, we’re walking to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario, an organization that provides vital programs, services, advocacy, and research for thousands of people in our community affected by Parkinson’s.

This September, Werth Every Step will walk in honour of my dad, and for the more than 10,000 others living with Parkinson’s right here in Southwestern Ontario.
