Please support me in the Walk for Parkinson's!

Thank you for taking the next step in sponsoring me in 2025 by clicking on the “Personal Page” which I would like to call the “How to Sponsor Me Page.” I don’t have to tell you here how Parkinson’s Disease affects the lives of people who suffer from it, or the sad burden it puts on their families and friends, especially those most close them. You know that from your own personal experience with family or friends or from your own knowledge. I’m also sure that you support many other worthwhile causes, but the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario is the one that focuses on our area from Windsor to Owen Sound and is the one that Suzanne and I were close to and that I continue to personally work for.
The easiest way to donate, and the way that will be most efficient for PSSO and for me, and will yield an instant tax receipt for you, is to click on the blue DONATE NOW button in the column on the right. If you have donated or shopped online, you are familiar with the process. But if you do not do financial transactions online (and you will not be the only one) you can give me cash or a cheque or mail me a cheque made out to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario or PSSO. Please do not make it out to me personally but instead write my name on the memorandum line on the cheque’s bottom left corner.
Mail your cheque to:
Stuart Selby
516 – 4909 Riverside Drive East
Windsor, ON N8Y 0A4
You can also give me cash in person. I cannot issue you a receipt, but I will turn in all the cheques and cash at the Walk on September 7th, and you will get a receipt later from PSSO before tax time.
If you have questions, you can call me at 519-969-2654 or email me at sasrselby@gmail.com
For my family and friends in the USA or elsewhere in the world who may not be eligible for a Canadian tax deduction, or who prefer to donate to a Parkinson’s charity other than PSSO, I would be grateful if, in your personal reply, you could let me know how you helped. Also, if you receive any income from Canadian sources, you may be eligible under your own tax code to deduct a donation to PSSO; ask your tax preparer.
Thank you again---Stu
